Abstract

Increasing age in the elderly causes a decrease in organ function including oral health. Oral health problems in the elderly often go undetected due to limited access and ability. OHAT (Oral Health Assessment Tool) is a simple screening instrument that can be used by non-dental health workers to detect oral health conditions in the elderly. The purpose of this study is to determine the description of the oral health condition of the elderly using the OHAT instrument at Yayasan Madania and Panti Tresna Wredha Budi Luhur Bantul in 2025. This type of research is descriptive observational with a cross-sectional approach involving 55 elderly aged ≥ 60 years. This study was conducted in April 2025 at Yayasan Madania and Panti Tresna Wredha Budi Luhur Bantul.
